It was actually less than twenty minutes before we left for the Trunk-or-Treat that we decided Harry should get to dress up at least once! Realizing we had no costume (and no time to buy a costume or proper supplies to make one) we found a yellow shirt and a permanent marker. Five minutes later...ta da! Handsome little bee! Since it was going to be outside and we were down to a cool 70 degrees that night, the long sleeves were perfect. Don't worry...he only wore the dangerous antennae for pictures!
Little Bee meet Dream Fairy (With Princess Tendencies)! I really wanted them to pose for their first Halloween together, but all I got was a bunch of playing on the floor!
I was a princess. Kaia gave me the idea.
Kaia almost had a whole rice crispy treat...her Daddy saved her from having to eat it all by herself!
The Trunk-or-Treat was at our church, and the Activities Committee had two fun games. The ring toss (pictured) had kids throwing a glow-in-the-dark necklace onto pumpkin stalks and the bean bag throw was targeted at a pile of plastic pumpkins stacked up in a pyramid. Kaia enjoyed both...almost as much as walking around trick-or-treating!
Her favorite candy lately has been suckers--any kind of sucker! She's been getting one each day, and just loving it!
Our last Halloween event was a party at Jesse Jones Park and Nature Center...hopefully coming tomorrow!
