Harry Learns to Clap

Harry's new skill this weekend is clapping.  I love watching him get excited about things.  Now, instead of just jumping up and down and waving his arms crazily, he also claps!

Some of my favorite clapping moments were when he clapped for himself after standing "hands free," when he was eating a new soup for the first time yesterday, and when we were playing.

He's such a cutie!!! I have a little guy too and his new thing this week is banging his head on the sofa pillow with is mouth wide open. It's quite crazy, but adorable at the same time.

What a cute new thing he learned. He is so Adorable! Can't wait till my little one learns to show her excitement by clapping.

Isn't it a joy when they're first learning those simple things! Adorable! :)

WokInTime, That's so funny! It's really similar to Harry's other "thing" lately--leaning forward, then throwing himself backward in his high chair. It just makes him laugh and laugh!

Diana, it is so fun to watch them learn to communicate and express more each day.

Esther, I do love this age... but then, I love a lot of ages!

Suzanne, the simple things really are beautiful...you just can't help smiling when a baby is so excited!

Hooray for Harry! I love when little kids clap - it's so awkward and funny to watch! :) We are just getting Julianna to wave bye bye - but sometimes she doesn't quite get it. lol
