The Teeth That Took 8 Months To Grow

At 13.5 months, Harry's first teeth have cleared the gumline!  Woohoo!!

Check them out...aren't they cute?!

Here's one more view (without the bib):

We have certainly been celebrating those little buggers this week!

In some ways, it seems like the end of an era.  He's been walking and "talking" and climbing for six months, but he was still a "baby" because he didn't have any teeth.  Now he has teeth.  It had to happen someday.  Congratulations, Big Guy...you're a toddler!

Ooh how exciting! Isn't it funny how all of ours hit different milestones at different times ... some do other things so early and some get teeth at 4 months LOL. Jules is on her 7th tooth or 8th. Once they started coming in, they cmae at once it seems. Hooray for Harry's teeth! Wait til he can figure out what he can do with them - all the food he can chomp!! :)

That is awesome! Yay for teeth! My daughter didn't get her teeth until she was 11+ months. She barely had them for her 1st birthday. I was starting to wonder if they were going to get stuck or something. Now she is almost 2 and has a whole mouth full of teeth, so no worries there. It's amazing how sharp those gums are though! My daughter was still eating almost anything, even without teeth.

Skye, I think he really likes them already! Lately, towards the end of his meals, he will rub his finger over the tips of them and laugh! The days of mashing his food are definitely ending soon!

Amanda, Thanks for coming by! I love to "meet" other mom bloggers! When he hit 13 months I actually wondered about them getting stuck too! I decided that if he was still toothless at 16 months, I'd start calling dentists, but then they showed up...yay!

Mia is 22 months and still missing teeth! Hers are growing so slow too. Congrats on the new teeth!
